Children’s Fairyland Lakeside Lark
2011
The Lakeside Lark is a large train which is driven each winter during America’s Children’s Parade. In 2011 we decided to give the train a new paint job that would better reflect the identity of Children’s Fairyland. A new color scheme was chosen for a more “toy” train look and graphics of the park’s icons were applied to the side panels. The project was successfully completed thanks to the help of community volunteer groups and individuals.

The Old Woman in the Shoe
2010
This is the first storybook set families see before walking through the magical gates of Children’s Fairyland. In honor of the park’s 60th anniversary I decided to give this figure a much deserved makeover. New paint, sculpting, and eyeglasses were added to bring life back into this sweet old woman.
